Farm Reversal

Submitted for GMTK 2023 "Roles Reversed", Farm Reversal is a game where you play as two roles, a FARMER in the day and a THIEF in the night. As the FARMER you have to grow your crops in the day and sell them to your customers, and as the THIEF strategically sabotage your plants to gain points.

Farmer

Your job as the FARMER is to grow your crops, take care of them, and to sell them whenever you want to gain POINTS!

You can grow 4 types of crops, Cabbages, Potatoes, Carrots, and Melons, you can sell these crops in your food stand for a low amount of POINTS OR to customers for Extra POINTS!

Thief

Your role as a THIEF is to sabotage the plants to gain POINTS, but you have to choose which ones you want to sabotage carefully because there's a chance they can ROT!

Selling

You can sell crops to customers by going over to them and clicking the SELL button. Make sure you have the correct Amount of Crops that they're requiring before you try to SELL the crops to them!

Interaction

After you plant a crop, you have 3 options, HARVEST, CLEAN, and DELETE.

You can only HARVEST the crops after they grow fully and if they have no insects on them (and aren't rotten). The HARVEST icon is the basket.

You can CLEAN the insects from the plants by clicking the BUCKET icon.

You can DELETE the crop if it's either rotten or you planted it by mistake by clicking the TRASH icon.

• Move: WASD / Arrow Keys
• Run: Left Shift
• Interact: Right Mouse Button
